Born in Willemstad, Curaçao to a Dutch father and a Chilean mother, I grew up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and perspectives. This international foundation has shaped who I am today.

Through my father’s work, I’ve seen and enjoyed much of the world. I still enjoy traveling with my boyfriend or for work. Whether it’s by plane, car, or motorcycle, we discover the most amazing places. I incorporate all these impressions into my work.

Experiences…

Because of my interest in travel and hospitality, I chose to pursue a degree in Hotel Management. In 1995, I had the opportunity to join the first English-language stream at ROC Mondriaan (Haagland) in The Hague. In 1999, I obtained my Hotel Management diploma.
I started my career in the hotel industry, where I held various positions within Front Office, Reservations & Banquet Sales and Inside Sales. In these roles, I gained extensive experience in customer service, planning, handling quotations and contracts, complaint resolution, and administrative processes. This period laid a strong foundation in service-oriented work, communication, and organization.

In 2007, an opportunity to transition to the IT and Software of the hospitality and service industry came in path. I joined Van Hessen BV, where I grew into an independent software consultant specializing in Suite8 (Fidelio) for Front Office and Sales & Catering. I was responsible for implementations, updates, training, consultancy, support, and report customizations. I carried out this role with a high level of independence for nearly eight years.

After that, I further deepened and broadened my expertise at various software and technology companies. Syx Automations, Stayntouch, Ultimo Software Solutions, Mews Systems, LOI, Twelve, Visma Plusport, The Sales Studio, and Shiji Group. In these roles, I worked as an Implementation Consultant, Senior Implementation Manager, Product Owner, Application Manager, and Account Manager.

Additionally, from 2016 to 2018, I worked actively as a freelancer under the name Viva Hospitality, where I operated as a freelance consultant and trainer within the hospitality industry. In this role, I was responsible for consultancy, implementations, training, and conducting mystery visits for clients.

Through my combined experience in service delivery, software implementations, consultancy, project management, and entrepreneurship, I have built a broad foundation that enables me to successfully support your organization.
